A journey from business administration into design learning to think beyond structure, embracing curiosity, experimentation, and new ways of seeing.
I pull from identity, culture, and chaos from today to build designs that don’t play safe.
Hey , I am Harleen Kaur, 23 years , from Jalandhar, Punjab.
Pursuing my Master’s in Fashion and Textile Design has reshaped the way I perceive design not just as a means to create, but as a way to question, reflect, and communicate. Over time, I’ve developed a deeper understanding of how fashion and textiles can go beyond aesthetics to express narratives, emotions, and cultural memory.
My journey has been one of unlearning and rediscovery from focusing on how things look to understanding why and how they are made. I am drawn to processes that bridge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities, where materials, stories, and techniques come together to create meaning.
For me, design has become a medium of dialogue between past and present, craft and innovation, self and society.
