My path to design has been shaped by exploration and transition from studying Business Administration to discovering fashion through modeling during the COVID-19 period, and ultimately moving toward design. Experiencing fashion firsthand sparked a desire to shift from wearing garments to creating them, leading me to explore textiles, craft, and cultural narratives through contemporary design practice.


Creativity is at the heart of everything we do. It's not about generating ideas, it's about bringing those ideas to life in ways that ignite imagination, and drive change.

In 2023, after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing, I was preparing to begin a career in the marketing field. However, something felt misaligned. After a period of reflection and introspection, I realized my interests lay beyond strategy and communication in creativity and making. This realization led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Fashion and Textile Design, marking a deliberate shift toward a practice that felt more authentic to me.

In 2019, Alex Bennett and a group of friends founded Vence in a small New York apartment, driven by a shared passion for visual storytelling.
